Or at least not to say that you hate mathematics when you hear about it next time !

It's a shame to see a useful thing in your everyday life and even more, not given enough importance or taught in the wrong way, the case of mathematics. No one hasn’t heard someone saying that they hate mathematics or don't like it, and you might be that person, but the good news is: since you are reading this article you have a chance to change your mind or at least have some curiosity to learn more about this amazing subject.

How can you learn mathematics?

The first step to learning mathematics is to start loving them and changing your mind about the old way you used to see them like. The examples of the use of mathematics we gave can wake your curiosity side to see the importance of this subject in real life since a lot of people don't like mathematics because of the way it was taught to them where we don't show the side of mathematics related to real-life (applied mathematics), for example just learning how to solve equations without giving an example how could that be helpful in real life, which is the main reason of not liking this subject for most people.

And in order to make learning it more fun, you need to try to understand it, start from the basics which are going to be your power in order to understand complicated math problems, and source of joy sometimes. In some situations, you will be trying to solve some problems difficult or "simple" one and you will be amazed by the method and tricks (usually the things you learned at the beginning )used which make mathematics more joyful and interesting, you will also learn to think logically…

Also, learn depending on your needs. One of the things that mathematics can offer you is to learn exactly what you need for example If you only need some basic skills like working with decimals and percentages, there’s no need to task yourself with learning geometry or even trigonometry. But if you’re hoping to go into physics, you’ll need background knowledge in many more topics, including algebra, calculus, vectors, and more. The best way to learn math quickly is to choose the shortest path through the subject you need in order to achieve what you want. Make sure you cover all of the basics, but if you’re in a rush you can afford to specialize after that.

And while you are practicing you will need to solve some problems, here we need the problem-solving skill which also can be learned by doing some math problems and the key point here is to first read the problem carefully and analyze what you have been told to do sometimes the first step to the answer is there then you can start seeing what you know before you start solving the problem and if you can't find the idea you can try to write what you know sometimes all we need is seeing the idea written!

Learning mathematics isn't something that we can cover all in one article and so the use of it, but the article was written in order to change the idea of taking mathematics as an enemy which is undefeated while it can be our friend and maybe after reading this article it would become your best friend or at least not your enemy.
